Tutankhamun – His Tomb and His Treasures Exhibition at GrandWest Casino

maskAlert! Are you interested in some history? Whether you’re a resident of Cape Town or one of its many visitors, take some time to check out the widely renowned exhibition of Tutankhamun – His Tomb and His Treasures, at the SunExhibits at GrandWest Casino. Having enjoyed much success in Johannesburg, this international show has proven to enjoy similar success in other countries. From June to September, this event will be in Cape Town, which is sure to bring delight to those who have an interest in Egyptian history.

Those that visit will have the pleasure of admiring this professionally reconstructed tomb. Egyptian tombs and treasures are widely known to be of exceptional worth and according to history, were not meant to be seen by the general public ever! One of the outstanding facts about this pharaoh’s tomb is that it was the first tomb to be discovered in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter to be nearly intact. Added to this fact, is that Tutankhamun died in approximately 1323 BC! In other words, visitors will be looking at a replica of a tomb that was built approximately 3,300 years ago!

If you’re interested in checking out this exhibition, take note: the last day of this show is the 27th of September 2015.
