There is no shortage of natural beauty on offer at Grotto Bay, from partially rocky but pristine beachfronts perfect for day outings with the family, to a few lovely seafood restaurants and also a selection of attractive hiking trails that could potentially introduce guests to “local residents” that include steenbok, ostrich, duiker and tortoises – not to mention the vast bird life that attracts bird watchers from near and far. Not far from the lovely Grotto bay beach village, holiday travellers can also discover a few spectacular wine estates in areas like Darling, or explore the numerous little fisherman and oceanfront villages that are dotted along the fabulous West Coast of the Western Cape.
