A casual and lovely family owned restaurant situated in the heart of George in the beautiful Cape Garden Route, La Capannina is a favourite among locals and tourists and has been open since 2002. The cuisine guests can enjoy here is mainly Mediterranean with a few tasty South African delicacies along the way. The La Capannina mission is simple and effective – Good Food and Excellent Service, every time. With a wine list to appeal to everyone (served by bottle or by glass) as well as a food menu that often features chef specials and also includes amazing pizza & pastas, well prepared grills, seafood dishes like tuna steak and king prawns and a variety of lovely starters like a mouth watering mussel pot and brie and bacon, expect that the food will be exceptional and wonderfully prepared. The La Capannina restaurant is a classic blend of comfort and style and is also a family friendly dinner, where pops of colour and mismatched furniture create an interesting and enjoyable dining exviroment, choose from either indoor and outdoor seating both boasting a friendly and tranquil atmosphere for all to enjoy. Open daily from 11 am to 10 pm, Fridays and Saturdays for dinner only from 5pm to 10 pm.
