A beautiful family-owned and run wine boutique in the luscious wine route of the Cape, Ambeloui was named after the Cypriot of “little vineyard” and Christodoulou (a Greek Cypriot) meaning “servant of Christ”. Every vintage bottle of wine here has been named after a family member and some of the most wonderful Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines were planted on these grounds in 1995. As guests visit and enjoy a sensational array of wines and the special Ambeloui Cap Classique sparkling wine, discoveries of the grounds beautiful rose and lavender gardens can also be admired. This family run wine estate uses classic hand-operated equipment that has been imported from France and Italy, as well as traditional wooden riddling racks.

There are about 700 bottles produced here each year, which are then usually aged for 2-3 years before they are released. The fabulous “bubbly” of high quality Mothode Cap Classique Sparkling Wine is done in a traditional French method and released on the first week on November each year, on the farm. Guests can also enjoy some lovely desserts and Greek Celebrations here, with traditional dishes like Spanakopita or Baklava with ice cream.
