Schulphoek Seafront Guesthouse and Restaurant features a spectacular seafront setting, warm welcomes, luxurious rooms and delicious dining, all of which set the scene for a memorable stay.
Schulphoek overlooks the bay from which it receives its name; an idyllic cove where whales often visit. A well known eco conscious refuge, this protected cove and its shoreline is also home to many birds, small mammals and marine life which can be viewed on the seashore paths nearby. Whales visit from late August through to December and often stop by in front of the accommodation.
Each of the 16 rooms offer thoughtful decor touches and luxurious amenities. The rooms and bathrooms are individually decorated with a collection of South African art and furniture. The generously sized superior, standard and family suites offer options with private patios overlooking the garden, or with sweeping views of the bay. Guests can indulge in the singular beauty of the Cape or read a book from the library in a comfy armchair. A relaxed and refined experience awaits!
Guests seeking time out and relaxation can unwind on one of the many sunny days at the heated salt pool. Guests can sip a gin and tonic on the veranda while the sun sets over the ocean or take a walk down to one of the calm sea pools or secluded beaches to take in the fresh Atlantic Ocean air.
