Prinskraal Homestead, Bredasdorp

Prinskraal is an idyllic working farm on the Agulhas plains, close to Africas southernmost tip. The property dates back to the 18th century, and the farmhouse, which has been in the current owners family for four generations, has recently been renovated as self catering accommodation for up to twelve guests.

Extensive gardens, a busy farmyard and a beautiful rambling homestead with world class local beaches and nature reserves, guests are garanteed to have a magnificent time. The property features four bedrooms, beds can be made up as singles or doubles, as well as a bunk bedroom which caters for four children. Both linen, swimming towels and bath towels are supplied. There are two bathrooms; the main bedroom has an en suite bathroom with shower facilities, and there is also a seperate bathroom which provides both bath and shower facilities.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for self catering purposes. This includes a stove, an oven, a fridge and a microwave. The lounge area features comfortable couches and a fireplace.

Arniston is a 10 minutes drive from the farm. It has excellent beaches for walking and swimming, a picturesque fishing village and several dining options. The beautiful and remote De Mond Nature Reserve is just 10 kilometers away and is one of the last unspoiled river estuaries on South Africas coast. It has excellent fishing, hiking, swimming and bird watching facilities. Struisbaai and Aguhlas are also an easy 30 minutes drive away, with Struisbaai being one of the longest beaches in South Africa.
