Pophuis, Witsand

Pophuis is a beachfront, self catering cottage ideally located in Duinepark, Witsand. It is a cozy little house, hence the name Pophuis. Witsand is approximately 200 kilometers from George and just 300 kilometers from Cape Town, making it an ideal holiday or weekend getaway for a small family.

The cottage is just a stones throw away from the beach and it can cater for up to four guests. There are two small bedrooms and a bathroom featuring both bath and shower facilities. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, whilst the second bedroom has twin single beds. There is also a pull out bed provided in the living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering purposes. This includes a stove, an oven, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, as well as cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The cozy living area has a television and an indoor braai area. The glass sliding doors open onto an outdoor patio area with built in braai facilities and comfortable outdoor dining furniture. This is the ideal place to enjoy the sea views while having a braai. Secure parking is available.

Some attractions nearby include the Witsand Putt Putt Baan, and the Pili Pili Adventure Centre where guests can go kite surfing, stand up paddling and take river boat trips. Some fabulous restaurants in the area are the Pili Pili River Bar and Restaurant, Anchorage and the Riverbreeze Family Restaurant.
