Overlooking Simon’s Town and False Bay, Penguin Blue offers two spacious, comfortable self-catering apartments. The apartments are situated on the hillside of Glen Marine between sea and mountain, making Penguin Blue an excellent holiday destination.
Dolphin Apartment sleeps two guests. Whale Apartment sleeps up to four guests, making it ideal for a family. The two apartments can be rented separately, as a two sleeper and a four sleeper, or together as a six sleeper. There is a door that separates the two apartments which can be left open if rented together.
Both apartments have fully equipped open-plan kitchens with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer and all small appliances. Enjoy the queen-size beds, superb bedding, flat-screen TV with DStv; including all movies and sport channels, DVD player and limited free Wifi. Each apartment has an indoor braai, and there is also a joint outdoor braai area.The apartments are serviced daily by trustworthy and friendly staff; excluding weekends and public holidays.
The accommodation is within a 5 minute drive from Simons Town, and within walking distance (1km) from the Metro train station. Elsies Peak hiking trail, which offers amazing panoramic views of False Bay, is 3km away. Fish Hoek main beach, which is one of Cape Town’s safest and most beautiful swimming beaches, and Kalk Bay with its unique shops and restaurants, are just 5km and 6km away, respectively. Penguin Blue is ideally positioned: 40 minutes from the international airport, 40 minutes from the winelands, and 40 minutes from the Cape Town CBD. With a variety of restaurants and tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity, like Cape Point, this pristine area makes a popular tourist destination.
Erica, the owner of Penguin Blue, is on hand to manage the day-to-day running of the self-catering units. Unfortunately no children under 10, and no pets allowed. Come and enjoy South African hospitality in a luxurious, comfortable, relaxing and safe environment.
