At the Orange Inn, guest can expect a warm welcome, a good breakfast and luxury accommodation. The Orange Inn 4 star graded establishment is situated just a short drive from central Cape Town in Melkbosstrand, named after the Milkwood (Melkbos in Afrikaans) trees that grow to the north of the town and the gateway to the beautiful West Coast.
At Orange Inn Melkbosstrand all the clean and quality guest rooms feature limited channel DSTV and air conditioning. There are 8 en suite double rooms available of which 7 of the guest rooms feature showers including our disabled-friendly room.
There is also an en suite family room for two adults and two children sleeping in a bunk bed. Breakfast is included with all bookings. Rooms are serviced daily except on weekends.
After a day at the beach, unwind in the downstairs lounge, or in the privacy of your own little garden patio. Cool off in the surrounds of the sparkling swimming “beach” pool and entertainment area with bar and BBQ facilities.
After a peaceful night’s sleep, enjoy a mouth-watering English- or Continental breakfast in the sunny poolside enclosure or at our breakfast nook.
Orange Inn Melkbosstrand is situated off the R27 Coastal route and N7 Main Cape/Namibia route, an easy 30 km from downtown Cape Town and only 28 km from Cape Town International Airport. Safe, under cover, off street parking is available for guests. Assorted quality restaurants and many activities are within close distance.

- Rates include accommodation, the offered breakfast and use of the guest lounge, swimming pool, internet access via WiFi and bar area.
- The managing agent has the right to change rates without prior notice.
- Rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured.
- The managing agent requires a 50% deposit of the total accommodation to secure a reservation.
- The deposit is payable within 24 hours of making the reservation, after which the room allocated to the booking is released for re sale.
- Any bank charges incurred by the property in relation to international funds transfers are to be met by the guests and will be added to the balance due on departure

- In the event of any damages to the room, a suitable amount will be added to guests final bill to rectify the damage and/or replace the item(s) affected.
- The property and it’s owners or employees do not accept any liability for loss, injury or damage whatsoever arising sustained by any person or third parties in or around the premises. This includes private vehicle damages of any kind whilst on or around our premises.
- For the guests’ enjoyment. All meals must be enjoyed either on the patio or in the breakfast area.
- The beach type pool has no fence. Therefore children under 4 years old are not permitted in the pool area. All children over this age need to be supervised by the accompanying adult(s) or guardian.
- Towels for the pool are available at reception. Please do not use the room towels for this purpose.
- The pool is shallow all around. Never dive or jump into the pool.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation less than 14 days forfeit the full deposit.
- Cancellation from 14 to 21 days forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- Cancellation from 21 to 28 days forfeit 25% of the deposit.
- Full deposit will be forfeited for cancellations between 15 December and 5 January
- No shows will be charged the full accommodation.
