Accommodation offers two bed and breakfast guest rooms situated inside the main house. Guest room 2 comprises a double bed and an en-suite bathroom and Guest room 3 comprises two single beds with access to a separate bathroom.
De Rust is the perfect base for an activity-filled holiday, from climbing and mountain biking in the Kamanassie, to exploring the Cango Caves, Meiringspoort or Seweweekspoort, to visiting Gamkaskloof, also known as “Die Hel” or “The Hell” and Prince Albert via the Swartberg Pass. Visit an ostrich farm or take a wine-route excursion to spoil taste buds with some of the country’s finest cuisine, or go fossil-hunting on the endless plains of the Great Karoo. Return to De Rust to rest and relax and soak up the beauty of the mountains.

Important Information
- For bookings of 2 or more nights, 50% of the total cost of stay is payable as specified on the Deposit Pro-Forma invoice.
- For bookings of 1 night, 100% of the total cost of stay is payable as specified on the Deposit Pro-Forma invoice.
- This deposit must be made into the managing agents bank account and a copy of the confirmation, signed by the guest, together with proof of payment must be returned by fax, e-mail or hand delivery
- The balance is payable in full before or on arrival.
- Payment can be made by cash, EFT or credit card.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancelled more than 30 days before arrival date: 10% of total cost of stay is payable.
- If cancelled more than 7 days before the arrival date: 50% of total cost of stay is payable.
- If cancelled less than 7 days before the arrival date: The full amount of the total cost of the stay is payable.
- No cancellation fee will be charged if the reason for the cancellation is due to hospitalization or death of any of the persons for whom the bookings were made, provided proof of the reason for cancellation is recieved.
