Nguni Cottage, Swellendam

Frog Mountain Getaway is a very well known Guest Farm at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains near Swellendam. It is situated in a hidden valley and offers a "getaway" in the truest sense of the term.

Nguni Cottage comprises of 2 large bedrooms and one small bedroom, the first bedroom has a queen size bed, the second has twin single beds while the smaller bedroom has double bunk beds. The 2 large bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.

The unit has a spacious lounge and kitchen area with an indoor fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a microwave, an oven, a stove, a fridge, a freezer and all the necessary crockery and cutlery. There is a braai area on the large covered stoep as well as a large garden for guests enjoyment.

Theres loads for both children and adults to enjoy at Frog Mountain such as the Amazing Foefie slide(Zip Line) into the Buffeljags River, fishing, swimming in the amazing pool or river/rock pools, hiking, cycling, canoeing, mini golf course, bird watching and a beautiful grass playground for the kids. The Reception has DSTV for Saturday afternoon sports enthusiasts so, no resentful rugby fans at Frog Mountain.

Another unique feature is a roaming herd of indigenous Nguni Cattle in the fields. Guests will wake up to the mooing of the cows a rustic delight for city slickers! No need to set the alarm before going to bed you can sleep with the doors unlocked and the windows wide open. A great feeling of freedom!

Both adults and kids will have a truly relaxing time at Frog Mountain and is situated only 2.5 hours from Cape Town.
