Katonkel offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a beautifully restored and decorated 103-year old fishermans cottage, offering sea views from the sun deck, and situated just 1 road across from the beach, in the quaint fishing village of Paternoster.
The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an equipped kitchen, a living area with a TV with DSTV, and a patio with BBQ facilities. The cottage boasts a small private pool and a garden. 2 of the 4 bedrooms contain double beds and the other 2 bedrooms contain twin beds. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and stove, microwave, kettle, and a fridge. The cottage is also equipped with an eight seater dining room table and an indoor fireplace. The unit is serviced daily, except on Sunday and public holidays.

The town is a popular tourist destination for people who seek its Mediterranean style atmosphere, characterized by blue waters, lime washed cottages, traditional fishermans architecture, and endless white sandy beaches. There are plenty activities to enjoy in Paternoster, such as, hiking, diving, spear fishing, horse riding, kayaking, boating, and mountain biking. Visitors can visit Columbine Nature Reserve, Bird Island Nature Reserve, West Coast Fossil Park, and Berg River Estuary.

Important Information
- No Parties allowed unless prior arrangements were made.
- A R500 key and breakage deposit is payable on arrival and is refundable within 7 to 14 working days after house has been scrutinized and all found in order.
- Keys will not be handed over under any circumstances without the deposit.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than one month prior to arrival 85 percent of deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellations made between 30 and 22 days prior to arrival 70 percent of deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellations made between 21 and 16 days before arrival date 50 percent of amount paid will be refunded.
- Cancellations made between 15 and 7 days before arrival date 20 percent of amount paid will be refunded.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival date, or in the event of a no-show, no refund will be considered.
