Goose Green Lodge, one of the oldest guest establishments in the tranquil Noordhoek Valley, offers awe-inspiring views of the mountains and is in close proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in South Africa.
Apart from the delicious breakfasts that are prepared for guests and their visitors daily, they can also make arrangements for breakfast or lunch packs, canapés or simple, yet tasty, dinners. All guests, including guests staying in the self-catering cottages, are welcome to discuss meal requirements.
The Semi Self Catering Suite is attached to the main house and has a separate entrance from the garden, a lounge area, a desk and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over bath. It is ideal for honeymooners or business travelers and has large cupboards, tea/coffee making facilities, a kitchenette with basic cooking utensils, crockery/cutlery and DSTV.
Sunbird Cottage has two cosy bedrooms that share a substantial bathroom with a bath and a shower, as well as a comfortable lounge with DSTV, a breakfast nook and a fully equipped farm style kitchen.
Guinea Fowl Cottage has two spacious bedrooms, both en-suite, one equipped with a bath, the other with a shower. The lounge has a television with DSTV. The cottage also has a breakfast nook and a modern, stylish kitchen.
For warm summer afternoons a pool and a traditional BBQ area offers convivial outside relaxation, but the garden also contains a shady gazebo and lots of comfortable garden furniture for enjoying some quiet moments. In winter, a gorgeous lounge area with a built-in fire place provides the ideal place to day-dream, read or play board games.

Important Information
- Children from the ages of 0-2 stay free of charge
- 3-11 year olds pay half the adult price, and thereafter full adult rates will apply
- Bookings can only be confirmed if the guest house receives a 50% deposit on accommodation
- A 50% deposit is required within 48 hours to secure a booking
- Discounted rates will be revised should the duration of stay be decreased or interrupted or payment terms not be adhered to .
- The Guest retains personal liability for the bill until the employer, agent, or person that made the reservation on his or her behalf has settled the account.
- Cash, electronic fund transfers and all major credit cards are valid payment methods.
- Cheques are not accepted.
- Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Quotations are valid for 48 hours unless otherwise specified.
- Refunds will only be made after payment has been finally cleared by the bank or Credit Card Company. This process can take in excess of 30 days.
- A minimum administration fee of 10% will be added to any service the guest house pays for on behalf of the Guest.
- Should a Guest not arrive on the confirmed date of arrival, the full deposit and any other payments will be forfeited.
- No check-in will be made after 20:00, unless a flight number has been provided in order to check flight progress.
- This is a non smoking guest house.
- Guests found to be smoking in their rooms will be liable to pay an additional nights accommodation.
- Loss or Damage to Guest House Property The Guest retains personal liability for any loss or damages caused to the property of Goose Green Lodge (excluding wear and tear).
- Parents/adults are held responsible for loss or damages caused by children in their care.
- Guests attend this establishment at their own risk.
- The proprietors, their agents, and/or employees shall not be liable for, and guests hereby waive and abandon, any claim of whatsoever nature, including but not limited to that for theft, death, injury, loss or damage of whatsoever nature against the proprietors, whether arising from the proprietors default, negligence or otherwise.
- Please be aware that there are dogs for security, and will not be held responsible for any damages caused by the animals.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation less than 7 days before: forfeit 80% of the booking.
- Cancellation less than 14 days before: forfeit 75% of the booking.
- Cancellation less than 21 days before: forfeit 50% of the booking.
- Cancellation less than 28 days before: forfeit 25% of the booking.
- Cancellation more than 29 days before the arrival date: forfeit 0% of the booking.
