The 1825 De Aap Farm Lodge, which is nestled among the Swartberg Mountains, has been lovingly restored to its former glory and modernized for 20th century comfort. As soon as guests set eyes on the lodge, they will be instantly transformed to a world of tranquility and barefoot luxury. No expense has been spared to restore and renovate the 1820 Farm Lodge to its former glory, where the crisp high thread linen, elegant copper basins, original artwork and tasteful decor and furniture is testimony to this. Guests will experience only the best, with the starstudded skies and peaceful surroundings, at the De Aap Farm Lodge.
The Lodge offers four luxurious and spacious rooms, each with their own en suite bathroom. Each room features coffee and tea making facilities, a hairdryer, a ceiling fan, a heater and a television with DSTV channels enabled. The accommodation also features an outdoor swimming pool, as well as BBQ facilities.
There is an abundance of activities available on the farm. This includes a Swartberg Mountain Farm Drive, a Droëberg Scenic Walking Trail, a Mountain Bike Trail and a Bushman Cave Trail. Complementary beverages are served on the Mountain Drive as well as the Guided Walking Trail.

Opening up onto its own private veranda with views over the rose and lavender garden, this makes for a serene setting with a beautifully appointed room in soft hues of white with copper and royal blue accents.
The full bathroom with a built in bath and a separate shower with Mondrian inspired shower screens will make guests never want to leave.

Important Information
- No pets allowed.
- Reservations made in advance and paid in full will not be affected by future rate increases.
- When extending a reservation, extra days will be charged the rate applicable on that specific day.
- In the event of the guest not checking in on the first night of the reservation without notification, the accommodation will not be held for the number of days already paid for.
- Please advise in advance if there will be a late arrival.

- The property cannot refund guests when checking out early due to unfavorable weather or for any other reason. Special circumstances can be addressed with the General Manager.
Cancellation Policy
- If cancelling 7 days before the arrival date, the guest forfeits 100% of the deposit.
- If cancelling 99 days before the arrival date, the guest forfeits 50% of the deposit.
