The sixteen hectares of prime land in the Wilderness is situated at the foot end of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains surrounded by peaceful indigenous forest which makes Clairewood a popular bird watching location.

The accommodation comprises of 3 self catering chalets, a swimming pool, a tennis court, wooden treetop walkways with breathtaking views of the surrounding forest and a walking trail to the nearby Silver River.

Eagle Owl and Fish Eagle are 2 bedroom chalets that comfortably sleep 4 guests each whilst the Grey Heron can accommodate up to 6 guests. Each unit features a fully equipped kitchen, a TV with DSTV channels as well as BBQ facilities.

The private walking trail winds through the indigenous forest and along the Silver River, affording guests the opportunity to encounter birds like the brilliantly coloured Knysna Loerie. Guests can also take a refreshing swim in the rivers natural pools.

Cancellation Policy

- If cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
- If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 50 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
