Bamboo Rondavel, Swellendam

Frog Mountain Getaway is a very well known Guest Farm at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains near Swellendam. It is situated in a hidden valley and offers a "getaway" in the truest sense of the term.

Frog Mountain Getaway has 3 identical rondavels which can each accommodate 2 adults and 2/3 kids.

Bamboo Rondavel has an open plan lounge and kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, oven/stove and a microwave. The unit comes with all the necessities for guests comfort such as crockery, cutlery, linen, bath towels, soap and detergents.

The main bedroom comprises of twin single beds with an en suite. The childrens loft area comprises of 2 or 3 single beds.

The unit comes with a covered braai on the stoep and an outdoor braai in the private garden. Complimentary limited firewood and blitz and a stainless steel grid are provided.

Theres loads for both children and adults to enjoy at Frog Mountain such as the Amazing Foefie slide(Zip Line) into the Buffeljags River, fishing, swimming in the amazing pool or river/rock pools, hiking, cycling, canoeing, mini golf course, bird watching and a beautiful grass playground for the kids. The Reception has DSTV for Saturday afternoon sports enthusiasts so, no resentful rugby fans at Frog Mountain.

Another unique feature is a roaming herd of indigenous Nguni Cattle in the fields. Guests will wake up to the mooing of the cows a rustic delight for city slickers! No need to set the alarm before going to bed you can sleep with the doors unlocked and the windows wide open. A great feeling of freedom!

Both adults and kids will have a truly relaxing time at Frog Mountain and only 2.5 hrs from Cape Town.
