This AfriCamps location is situated in Pat Busch Mountain Reserve. 2000 Hectares of spectacular mountain fynbos with streams, mountain dams, birdlife and various animals such as bucks, fallow deer, Nguni cows and even a very shy leopard. The reserve is also home to a rare Protea Flower that was thought extinct for almost 50 years and is now under protection of Cape Nature.
The glamping tents are tucked away in the Cape fynbos and look out over a folded green valley with the Langeberg as a gorgeous backdrop. Guest are invited to escape the hustle and bustle and come and explore this hidden valley together with your dearest friends and family.
AfriCamps tents are proudly produced and handcrafted in South Africa, providing an attractive accommodation option to those who like the freedom of the great outdoors but don’t necessary want to rough it. With all the comfort of a permanent structure – proper furniture, bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a solid wooden floor, they still preserve the romance and atmosphere of staying in a tent.
The tents consist of a spacious open plan lounge area with a comfortable couch and a fully equipped kitchen. The dining room area has a solid wooden table with enough seating for 5 people. For winter months the fireplace will be the perfect way to warm up the tent, bringing in an intimate setting for guests and their loved ones.
Each tent has two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are furnished with a queen size bed and have their own private entrance which allows maximum privacy. One of the bedrooms also contains an extra single bunk bed, so the tent will comfortably sleep a family of 5. The tents are equipped with an air conditioning unit to keep guests cool during those hot summer nights and a private bathroom with a hot shower cabin, washbasin and flushing toilet.
The private wooden deck at the front of the tent comes with comfortable wooden loungers from where guests can overlook the peaceful natural surroundings of a working farm or beautiful estate.

- No pets allowed on the farm.
- You will need to know the gate code to access the property on the day of arrival.
- Please check emails 24 hours before arrival to ensure you receive the gate code.
The following items or services are not included in the price, unless otherwise stated:
- Food & Beverage.
- Activities & Tours.
- Daily cleaning service (Complimentary cleaning every 4th day only).
- Wood and firelighters for the wood stove and campfires (for sale at farm).
- The optional breakfast baskets and braai packages are placed in the tent for guests to prepare themselves.
- Management accepts no liability for: theft, loss or damage, of whatever nature, during or as a result of a stay on one of the affiliated farms, falling into defect or putting out of action of technical equipment and loss or closure of supplies on the farm.
- The guests and those who accompany him or her, are jointly and severally responsible for all loss and/or damage which arises on the farm.
- If guests leave the tent in an improper condition, Management is entitled to charge cleaning costs. This can double in combination with a late departure.
Cancellation Policy
- In the event of a cancellation more than a month before arrival: 50% of the rental amount is payable.
- In the event of cancellation within a month before arrival the entire booking amount is payable.
- In the case of premature termination of the stay, the entire booking amount is payable.
