Struisbaai

Struisbaai is a coastal town in the Overberg region and just four kilometres from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa. The bay offers breathtaking scenery that includes a 14-kilometre beach and the seemingly infinite ocean. A unique feature of the bay is the large number of shipwrecks on the shore, evidence of Struisbaai's history of vessels running aground, with at least 30 shipwrecks since 1673.
