Keurboomstrand

The excellent Keurboomstrand, which is on the opposite side of the Keurbooms River from Plettenberg Bay, is a well-liked spot along the Garden Route for camping, fishing and swimming. With easy access to the Garden Route's highlights like the Tsitskamma, Storms River Mouth, Knysna, Nature's Valley and the attractions of Plettenberg Bay, Keurboomstrand is located in the shadow of a mountain covered in trees. Its beaches are unspoiled and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean are an added bonus. Long walks can be taken on Keurboom Strand, or if hikes are what you're looking, the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve, located just a few kilometers away on the N2, has some to offer.
