Herolds Bay

Herold's Bay is a small, undeveloped bay in the Western Cape region of South Africa that is located about 15km west of George. The Garden Route's Herold's Bay is the perfect vacation spot for golf or fishing enthusiasts and is protected from the South Easterly winds that come off the coast since it is perched in a rocky cove. The walking and hiking routes around Herold's Bay are great for viewing birds nesting in the coastal fynbos. All of the major tourist destinations, including Knysna, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn and George are close to the village.
