Bellville

Bellville is a residential suburb located 25km outside of Cape Town on the N1 towards Stellenbosch, amid the Tygerberg hills, with beautiful views of the Winelands and the Stellenbosch Mountains.

Bellville's proximity to the N1 makes it a popular area for visitors to stay and aside from easy access to Cape Town's beaches, the suburb has lots of activities to keep one busy during one's stay. The Bellville Golf Course is worth a round on its 18-hole course, which is situated in a sheltered valley with fantastic views, while the Tygerberg Nature Reserve is a nice trip with a 7.5km climb that promises spectacular views of the entire peninsula. The Durbanville Wine Valley, with its historic vineyards, quaint cafés and characteristic South African hospitality, should be at the top of your list when visiting this area of the world.
