Royal Albatros, Gansbaai

The Royal Albetros Apartment is the full ground level of the house. It has two en-suite bedrooms, a kitchenette and a lounge with a private patio, a splash pool and gas braai. The awesome view from every room in the apartment is unrestricted, apart from Fynbos and rocks, on the Walker Bay. The private entrance to the apartment is down 35 comfortable, wide stairs on the outside of the house.

Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed and the bathroom has a bath and shower. Bedroom two has two single beds and the bathroom only has a king size shower. The kitchenette is stocked with all necessary utensils including a small fridge, microwave, two plate stove and bar stools. The lounge has a sleeper couch for 1 additional person, a TV with full DSTV, a heater and fan. There is also an extra guest toilet.

During June to November is the whale season. Guests can enjoy the sight as the Southern Right whales come to mate and breed in the Walker Bay. There is a tidal pool and the Stanford Cove is an ideal place for small children to swim and play on the grass banks. Both are within walking distance. Many walking and hiking trails are available. Local fishing boats are a common sight on the ocean and the sunsets are just awesome. Each one a master piece of colour in the sky.
