Pirates Creek is situated in the heart of the Garden Route on the Touw River in Wilderness, with 15 self contained chalets. Our up market log cabins and wooden chalets are all self-catering, fully equipped and serviced Mondays Wednesday and Fridays and not on public holidays. Each with own braai facilities and deck overlooking the tranquil river and mountains.
Pirates Creek offers Joplins on Route 66 Resaurant; a child friendly restaurant open daily for lunch and dinner.
Guests have full access to the chalet they rent and all the common areas in the resort, including the pool! There are pool loungers for use by the guests. We supply the canoes for river adventuring (optional extra at own risk). There is a small but fun play area for the children at the pool area as well as BBQ facilities for our guests. Guests will have access to the receptionist and these people will be available during office hours only.
The Garden Route has a Mediterranean Maritime climate, with moderately hot summers, and mild to chilly winters. It is one of the richest rainfall areas, most of which occurs in the winter months, which is brought by the humid sea-winds from the Indian ocean. Any time of the year is good for visiting the area, depending if you enjoy a peaceful retreat during the winter months or a bustling holiday destination during the summer months.
Come and relax on the river and enjoy fishing, canoeing, hiking, bird watching, or a breath taking sun downer braai experience.

Two Bedroom Chalet

The single story chalets are fully self catering, with fresh linen weekly and bath towels daily (if required), excluding weekends and public holidays. There are 5 of these chalets available.
Guests have their very own private deck overlooking the Touws River. There is a TV with local station available, fully fitted kitchen. There is a shared bathroom in the 2 bedroom chalets.
The main suite has access out onto the deck and fitted with a double bed. The second room has 2 single (twin) beds, ideal for the kids!
Please note that we do not allow smoking inside the chalets and unfortunately we don’t allow pets.

Three Bedroom Chalet

The double story chalets are fully self catering, with fresh linen supplied weekly and bath towels offered daily (if required), excluding weekends and public holidays. There are 7 of these chalets available.
Guests have their very own private deck overlooking the Touws river. There is a TV with local station available, fully fitted kitchen. There are 2 bathrooms in the 3 bedroom chalets.
The main suite has access out onto the deck / balcony and fitted with a queen bed. The second room has 2 single (twin) beds, ideal for the kids! The third bedroom is located down stairs and has a queen bed.
Please note that we do not allow smoking inside the chalets and unfortunately we don’t allow pets.

- Please ensure guests email (scanned or mobile phone photo) a copy of the: - cardholder drivers license, ID or passport (for signature verification) - A PayBridge payment notification slip signed by the cardholder. - A copy of the actual client invoice.
Cancellation Policy
- All bookings are final and no refunds will be offered.
- The client may refer the booking to a third party, who will need to contact the managing agent to make suitable arrangements.
- The client liable and responsible for obtaining the refund from the referral party and agrees not to involve the managing agent in the matter.
