Kwetu Guest Farm is situated on a peaceful farm in Buffeljagsrivier with beautiful views of the Langeberg Mountains and surrounding farmlands. The cottages are just 11 km outside of Swellendam, midway between Cape Town and George, where guests can get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The accommodation comprises 2 one bedroom self-catering apartments by the main house each with a 2 single beds, a kitchenette and a BBQ area on the veranda. These apartments sleep a maximum of 2 people each. The amenities include fans in the bedrooms, a TV with selected DSTV channels, WiFi internet access, a stove, a microwave and a fridge and freezer.
There is also a single self-catering room that offers three single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower as well as a kitchen fitted with a fridge and freezer, a microwave and a one-plate induction stove.
The cottages sit on over 87 hectares of land, on which guests are welcome to walk, jog or cycle. The dam also offers great fishing opportunity. The middle dam is teeming with small fish, which is great fun for the kids.
A variety of animals can be spotted in the area including springbok, rhebok, steenbok, scrub hare, dassies and water mongoose. Numerous bird species including the fish eagle, Stanley´s bustard, secretary birds, and the beautiful national bird, the blue crane, can also be seen.
