19 Loader Street is a charming home in the lovely De Waterkant area of Cape Town, situated against Signal Hill on the Atlantic Seaboard, within walking distance of the city center, Green Point Stadium, and the V&A Waterfront.
The unit is a 3 and a half bedroom home that can accommodate a maximum of 7 guests with 2 en-suite bedrooms. The 2 en-suite bedrooms have queen-size beds, 1 bedroom has twin beds and bathroom in the passage opposite the bedroom, and 1 small bedroom with a single bed. Fully furnished and equipped with best quality towels and linen, TV’s in all the bedrooms. Tastefully furnished lounge and dining room area with TV, DVD/Video, and mini hi-fi CD stereo system. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, iron, and dishwasher. Serviced twice a week and extra services available at extra cost.
Loader Street is part of the historic 19th century Cape Town with its traditional houses, iron-work, and verandas. No 19 is a Victorian house furnished in the style of that era with paintings and porcelain decoration reminiscent of that time. The house, however, has all the advantages of modern living and it enjoys comfortably furnished patios at the front and at the back of the house.
No smoking in the house, but allowed outside, Wi-Fi Internet connection, 1 private lock up garage, airport transfers, car hire, and tours can gladly be arranged. Loader Street is just a few meters away from the Cape Quarter Shopping Center, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants and a choice of 2 gymnasiums.
Important Information
Due to a few bad experiences with unscrupulous/dishonest guests, we have had to implement the following rule:
- When booking 19 Loader Street, you are booking the whole house, there will be no other persons occupying the house.
- If you book for 2 persons, we will open up ONE bedroom only, if you book for 4 persons, we will open up TWO bedrooms only, if you book for 6 persons, we will open up THREE bedrooms only , and if you book for 7 persons, we will open up FOUR bedrooms. (the fourth bedroom is a single room)
- If you are 2 persons and you require 2 bedrooms, there will be a R400.00 surcharge. In other words, there is a R400.00 surcharge for only one person per room, as we sell the rooms as double rooms, ie, 2 persons per room. We have had to implement this rule because many guests have booked for only 2 persons, and only paid for 2 persons, but we have discovered that they are actually 6 or 7 persons.
Cancellation Policy
- In the event of cancellation, our cancellation policy comes into effect:
- If canceled or modified up to 30 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
- If canceled or modified up to 15 days before the date of arrival, 50 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If canceled or modified up to 5 days before the date of arrival, 75 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- If canceled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
