Situated on the rolling hills of the 300-hectare De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate, between Stellenbosch and Somerset West and close to Cape Town, 11 Oudepost is a luxurious self-catering house with five bedrooms sleeping up to 8 guests. There is also an additional room that can be made available on request for 2 extra guests.

The modern, comfortable and very spacious family home is fully equipped and beautifully furnished in a relaxed yet unique style. The house is serviced three times a week, excluding public holidays.

The house has climate control, a fireplace for the chilly winter nights, satellite or cable, a television, a DVD Player, internet access and books. The dining room graces a ten-seater dining room table and the lounge is perfect for large family gatherings.

The bedrooms, each with panoramic views of the mountains and vineyards, come with fresh bespoke linen, hair dryers and towels. The en-suite bathrooms are luxurious, individually decorated and well stocked with all the necessities.

The kitchen, promises to be the ‘heart’ of the home and should guests be the type to whip up wonderful holiday meals, they will appreciate it and everything needed for a care-free family holiday. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a stove, oven, a toaster, grill, blender, microwave, kettle, tumble dryer, washing machine and an iron.

On arrival, guests will notice the beautifully established garden with a private pool, a patio and deck. The balcony, terrace and an outdoor dining area give the home an indoor/outdoor flow for relaxed entertaining. On the estate for guests use are tennis courts, private fishing and a children’s play area.

With some of the most picturesque views of the Stellenbosch Mountains, olive groves, vineyards, lavender fields, an abundance of dams, and fountains to explore, life doesn’t get much better than this for a family holiday or short break.

For the energetic holiday-makers, the Estate offers safe walking and cycling trails, golf facilities, tennis courts and canoeing. Those that enjoy the quieter type of a holiday, there is wine tasting, a club house and top cuisine dining, all with excellent security and secure parking. De Zalze is a security estate and hence only registered guests will be permitted to stay overnight.
