HKP - Jacaranda, Hout Bay

Fully equipped, free standing, double storey Self Catering cottage. The upstairs private loft bedroom has a queen size bed, and a separate bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. The main bedroom is downstairs with queen size bed and air-conditioning, and a second bedroom with two single beds and air-conditioning. The separate bathroom has a bath with a shower attachment over the bath, toilet and wash basin. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric stove/oven, and is open plan with the lounge with wall heating, DSTV (Hotel Bouquet) and a DVD player.
 
The barbecue facilities are at the back of the cottage and shared parking is in front. This cottage is situated close to the centre of the resort, close to the tennis court, and has spectacular views of the beautifully kept gardens, some of the cottages, the valley, vineyards and the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the west and Table Mountain on the north boundary. The tariff is based on occupancy by six people.
 
Hout Bay, a short but beautiful drive down the Main Road has evolved from a quaint little village to one of the popular towns on the Atlantic Seaboard. Approximately 2km from the Common is the largest Bird Park in Africa, the World of Birds. There are many things to do and see, and staff will assist in arranging a boat trip to Seal Island, give you information on scuba diving, sailing, jet skiing, point you in the right direction to view whales during the season and advise where to go horse riding.
 
Relax in the serenity of your cottage or walk to the top of Table Mountain from your doorstep. The Mountain Retreat borders the Cecilia Forest which offers a vast network of walks and jogging paths through Kirstenbosch to Newlands Forest, stretching to the top of Table Mountain and Cape Town.
