This is a beautiful self-contained, pet friendly cottage situated in rural Joostenbergvlakte. It is a private and tranquil setting that is close enough to major thoroughfares to make sightseeing a breeze.
The cottage is fully furnished and equipped with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room and a double bedroom with an en suite.
The kitchen is equipped with a two plate stove with an oven, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. Crockery and utensils are supplied.
The bedroom consists of a double bed fitted with fresh linen and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. Towels are also provided for guests. A double sleeper couch in the lounge provides additional sleeping space for two people.
The spacious cottage is set apart from the main residence in a private, fully fenced garden with its own remote controlled electric gate. Secure off-street parking is available on the property for up to three vehicles. No covered parking is available.
Guests are invited to relax in the garden or under the covered patio to enjoy the peace and quiet. There is outdoor braai facilities available should guests feel like having a quiet relaxing evening.

Important Information
Payment Terms:
- 50% Deposit is required to secure your booking.
- The balance, including a damages and key deposit, will be due 7 days prior to arrival.
- With shorter notice bookings (Less than 7 days) the entire accommodation amount plus the damages and key deposit will be due to secure your booking.
- Deposit refunds will be made within 72 hours of departure if the managing agent finds everything in order.
- By payment of the reservation deposit, the client agrees to and shall be bound by the terms and conditions.
House Rules:
- The interior of the cottage is a strictly no-smoking area.
- Full damages deposit will be retained to have the cottage professionally cleaned from smoke odours.
- The value of any damages and/or losses (accidental or otherwise caused by themselves, their guests or their pets) will be deducted from the damages and key deposit amount.
- All damages and/or losses must be declared prior to departure.
- Clients will be held liable for damages and/or losses exceeding the damages and key deposit amount.
- Any such excess amounts shall be payable in full to the proprietors of Drafstap Cottage within 48 hours of occurrence. - Staying at Drafstap Cottage is entirely at your own risk and the managing agent will not be held responsible for any damage or injury to your person, your property, guests or any pets. - Pets must sleep inside and owners must provide own pet bedding.
- Pets must be free of ticks and fleas.
Cancellation Policy
- Upon arrival or at any point after the commencement of your stay, the full payment due for the entire booking may be retained.
- Cancellations 0 to 14 days before arrival: no show - the full deposit paid may be retained.
- Cancellations 15 to 28 days before arrival: 75% of deposit or 25% of the full quote value may be retained.
- Cancellations 28 days or more before arrival: 50% of deposit or 25% of the full quote value may be retained.
