Albergo For Backpackers is conveniently situated within easy walking distance from the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife, in the bustling coastal town of Plettenberg Bay. Dolphins and whales are often spotted cruising the beautiful bay from the balcony.
Hostel accommodation is offered in the form of 12 bedded dormitories, and private bedrooms. The private bedrooms can accommodate between 1 and 6 guests, and have access to shared bathrooms. Complimentary WiFi and internet, coffee and tea, and bodyboards are provided, surfboards can be hired for a fee.
Swinging hammocks and hanging chairs await those looking to relax in the garden, which is set around the communal area, and a fully stocked, and licensed bar. Guests have access to a communal fully equipped self catering kitchen. Every night is bonfire night at Albergo for Backpackers, where guests hosts will teach guests to master the art of a traditional South African outdoor braai.
Albergo’s Adventure Centre offers information about activities in the area, and the helpful staff will happily assist with bookings. A shuttle service is also available for transport to the various activities.
Plettenberg Bay offers beautiful beaches, and a wide variety of restaurants, cafe’s, and beach bars. A range of activities are available in the area, including sky diving, bungee jumping, sea kayaking, mountain biking, and deep sea fishing.
