Fresnaye

Fresnaye is one of the city's most upscale residential neighbourhoods and provides some of the best vacation accommodations in Cape Town. It is located on the slopes of Lion's Head, halfway between Sea Point and Bantry Bay. Some of the most valuable real estate along the Atlantic Seaboard can be found at Fresnaye due to its ideal location on the mountain, protection from the infamous south-easterly, and ease of access to Cape Town. As the suburb's name suggests, the streets here are named for locations in France, and the breathtaking views include expansive views of the Atlantic, Table Bay, and Robben Island. The neighbourhood is close to the V&A Waterfront and provides quick access to the many museums, galleries, and alleyways of the city center.
