Bela Bela

Bela Bela is located in South Africa's Limpopo province's Waterberg region. Bela Bela is conveniently placed off the N1 highway between Pretoria and Polokwane.

Previously known as Warmbaths due to the relaxing hot springs discovered here over 200 years ago by the Tswana, who named them Bela-Bela. The town's main attraction is Bela-Bela, which means "water that boils on its own." The climate here is warm throughout the winter months, with usually sunny days and pleasant summer months. This consistent temperature contributes to its popularity among travellers.

The town is not just known for its hot spring water, it also covers a large radius of mixed farmed land and has a decent array of accommodation alternatives ranging from guesthouses, B&Bs to well-known game reserves.
