Fully equipped, double storey, semi-detached Two Bedroom Self Catering Cottage sleeping a maximum of four people. Situated on the north side of the property, this cottage has a fantastic view over the valley and the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the west. The upstairs bedroom offers two single beds with seating, air-conditioning, TV (PVR), wall to wall carpeting, bed linen and towels as well as a separate bath, toilet and wash basin.The master bedroom offers a double bed with seating area, air-conditioning, TV (PVR), wall to wall carpeting, bed linen and towels, and En-Suite bathroom with wash basin, make-up/shaving mirror, shower & toilet. This bedroom has a private entrance with small patio and barbecue facilities.The kitchen is open plan with the lounge and dining area, and has a gas hob & oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. Barbecue facilities are at the back of the cottage and the parking bay in front. The tennis court is close by. Situated on the south side of the property, closer to the main road, this cottage offers a wonderful view over the resort and the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the west. The tariff is based on occupancy by two people.Hout Bay, a short but beautiful drive down the Main Road has evolved from a quaint little village to one of the popular towns on the Atlantic Seaboard.
 
Approximately 2km from the Common is the largest Bird Park in Africa, the World of Birds. There are many things to do and see, and staff will assist in arranging a boat trip to Seal Island, give you information on scuba diving, sailing, jet skiing, point you in the right direction to view whales during the season and advise where to go horse riding.
 
Relax in the serenity of your cottage or walk to the top of Table Mountain from your doorstep. The Mountain Retreat borders the Cecilia Forest which offers a vast network of walks and jogging paths through Kirstenbosch to Newlands Forest, stretching to the top of Table Mountain and Cape Town.
